ASID Showcase Home Tour, Lake of the Isles Parkway, May 19 - June 10, 2012

Interior design is an art as much as it is a science. It involves making many informed and well-thought out decisions. The result enhances not only an aesthetic perception of the living environment, but also ensures safety and functionality of the space. As interior designers we pay attention to ergonomics, health, accessibility codes and materials’ performance as well as address environmental concerns.

The following guidelines will ensure the design process to be smooth and the communication to stay open between the designer, the homeowner, and the contractor.

Interview:
It all starts with your story. We learn about you and your expectations, how you want your space to function and how you want to function in it.

Programming:
Before we create an overall concept, we analyze many factors and gather information. What is the style of your home? How does the natural light enter the space? How do the spaces in your home relate to one another? We also take measurements and photographs of your space, and compile the list of existing items.

Concept development:
Based on the information gathered, we create solutions to your design dilemmas. We work very carefully by weighing the functionality needs, the aesthetic requirements, and the budget.

Working documents:
Once the concept is finalized we produce working drawings some of which may include floor plans, elevations, ceiling plans, custom woodwork drawings and the 3-D color renderings. We also provide you with furniture, fixtures, fabric and finishes specifications schedules.

Execution:
After the specifications are developed, the wheel is set into motion. The orders are placed and the installation has begun. During this phase we communicate with the contractor, make visits to the construction site and monitor all the deliveries.

Enjoy!
We strive to meet and exceed our client’s expectations and hope you enjoy the finished product long after we have left your house and the construction dust has cleared.

TESTIMONIALS
WE ARE SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE DISCOVERED INVIEW INTERIOR DESIGN! LIVING IN AN OLDER HOME IN SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS, WE FOUND IT RATHER HARD TO COME UP WITH IDEAS THAT WOULD MAKE OUR HOME LOOK CONTEMPORARY WHILE AT THE SAME TIME PRESERVING THE CHARACTER OF THE ERA IT WAS BUILT IN. INVIEW REALLY HELPED US TRANSFORM OUR DINING ROOM, ADDING ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS AND FURNITURE THAT GAVE IT A SOFTER, MORE WELCOMING FEEL. AND NOW OUR BATHROOM HAS GOTTEN A MAKEOVER. IT IS LOOKING BRIGHT AND FRESH, WHILE MAINTAINING A RETRO FEEL WITH THE NEW GLASS TILE AND ACCESSORIES SELECTION. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PATIENCE, HARD WORK AND EXCITING IDEAS!

RENA AND PETRA ARE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THEY LISTEN, PROVIDE YOU WITH VARIOUS OPTIONS AND NEVER IMPOSE THEIR OWN OPINIONS ON YOU. MOREOVER, THEY HELP YOU WITH MATERIALS SELECTION AND POINT YOU TO THE RIGHT SOURCES WHERE YOU CAN SAVE MONEY OR FIND SOMETHING SPECIAL. THEY CAN JUST GIVE YOU IDEAS AND LET YOU IMPLEMENT THEM, OR THEY CAN CARRY THE PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH, DEPENDING ON YOUR PREFERENCE. CONSIDERATE, RESOURCEFUL, ENERGETIC AND INSPIRING - YOU WILL NEVER REGRET CHOOSING THEM AS YOUR INTERIOR DESIGN PROFESSIONALS.
